As a child, my mother frequently attempted to capture my image, but I was a reserved and camera-shy individual. After completing high school and spending a year in college, I transitioned to working on offshore oil rigs in the mid-Gulf of Mexico at the age of 19, where I maintained equipment. During that period, I was still searching for my passion in life. Although I was aware of the existence of a larger journey, I had not yet discovered it.  In 2021 I become more comfortable in front of the camera, leading to my first modeling opportunity in New York. However, I was still somewhat nervous and inexperienced in the realm of photography. In the early months of 2022, I chose to relocate to Mobile, Alabama and gave modeling another attempt. During this time, I began to acclimate to the fashion industry, and by embracing authenticity, I aimed to showcase the genuine Jalen Gage. As a result of posting more content on social media, my followers quickly shared my videos extensively. I secured a booking for my first modeling session in mid-summer 2022, which marked the beginning of my success in the industry.
